Let Freedom Ring Parade

The Downtown Sykesville Connection is hosting its sixth annual “Let Freedom Ring Parade”

Bring the whole family and celebrate America’s birthday, Sykesville-style! Parade floats will be judged, and awards for floats will be announced after the parade. The parade should be over just in time for lunch and ice cream downtown Sykesville.

The Let Freedom Ring parade will start at 10 AM that day, beginning at Sykesville Middle School and proceeding down Springfield Avenue and the length of Historic Main Street, with floats and vehicles accompanying the approximately 35 participants marching in units and organized groups.

When: June 29, 2024 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Where: Sykesville Main Street

Attention car enthusiasts! This year, join us for the Let Freedom Ring Parade, featuring "Topless on Main." This is an exciting opportunity for convertible owners to showcase their unique vehicles, regardless of their year, make, or model. We're seeking 25 convertibles to cruise down Main Street, offering a spectacular show for the entire community of Sykesville. Interested in being a part of this?
