2022 Happy-Thon

The 2022 Sykesville Happy-Thon is starting early. We hope to join forces with community members to ensure every child in Sykesville receives the present they wish for. This program has served local families since 2015.

The Downtown Sykesville Connection (DSC) raised $18,376 to purchase warm clothes and presents and offer help with food during the 2021 holiday season. Project Linus teamed up with us to provide a personalized handmade blanket for each child.
With your help, we hope to serve 23 local families and their 68 kids. The DSC volunteers its time and resources for the entirety of your donation to go towards the purchase of toys and winter clothing. Children will receive their presents and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies with a visit from Santa on the second weekend in December.

Donate online using the button below (add 2022 Happy-Thon in the comment section) or send your check to the Downtown Sykesville Connection, 7566 Main Street, Suite 302, Sykesville, MD, 21784 (add 2022 Happy-Thon in the memo line).
Your Happy-Thon donation is tax-deductible (EIN: 82-3150093).
The DSC would be honored to continue partnering with you towards the success of this year’s fundraiser. The DSC invites you to check its social media platforms to enjoy and join other programs and future events.

The DSC is thrilled to bring back to Main Street the Fall Festival! The event is scheduled for October 22nd, from 12 to 4 pm. We invited downtown businesses to come out and play for this family-friendly community gathering downtown.
