The Friends of South Carroll Dog Park are a volunteer group of South Carroll residents committed to fundraising to build a 2.5 acre dog park on the property of the South Carroll Senior and Community Center. This will provide an area for safe pet play and community engagement for local residents.
Phase 1 of the project will cost $42,000 which will go towards fencing the 2.5 acre park area and paving a path to the park from the parking lot to allow for easy and safe access, Phase 2 will cost an additional $12,000 to section off a small dog play area within the larger park. The group meets monthly to plan effective fundraising efforts and uses Facebook page, Friends of South Carroll Dog Park, to communicate updates, events, photos and news about the project.
